At CineRaw Imagery, we were honored to film and produce the opening speech video of Dr. Thomas Garvey, President of the World Design Organization, at the global launch event of the first 'Better Design Award' (BDA) held in Guangzhou, China.

“The establishment of the Better Design Award aims to simulate the innovative vitality of designers and enterprises to lead global design trends and to explore the future of lifestyles.” He mentioned in the speech.

The BDA is established under the guidance of China Central Television (CCTV), the Guangdong Provincial Government, the Guangzhou Municipal Government, and the Shenzhen Municipal Government. It is hosted by the Guangdong Headquarters of CCTV and the Shenzhen Industrial Design Profession Association. This is an international, comprehensive design competition aimed at global evaluation.

The BDA upholds the concept of "design makes life better" and aims to discover excellent designs, transform them into high-quality products, and create intelligent brands. It strives to build a high-end design platform that radiates globally from design to manufacturing.

大赛在中央广播电视总台、广东省人民政府、广州市人民政府、深圳市人民政府指导下设立，由中央广播电视总台广东总站、深圳市工业设计行业协会主办，是一项面向全球评选的国际化综合设计领域赛事。赛事秉承“设计让生活更美好”的理念，通过发现好设计、转化好产品、智造好品牌，打造一个从设计到制造辐射全球的高端设计综合平台。
